SV	De verbintenis harer profeten is in het midden van haar als een brullende leeuw, die een roof rooft; zij eten de zielen op, den schat en het kostelijke nemen zij weg; haar weduwen vermenigvuldigen zij in het midden van haar.
WLC	קֶ֤שֶׁר נְבִיאֶ֙יהָ֙ בְּתֹוכָ֔הּ כַּאֲרִ֥י שֹׁואֵ֖ג טֹ֣רֵֽף טָ֑רֶף נֶ֣פֶשׁ אָכָ֗לוּ חֹ֤סֶן וִיקָר֙ יִקָּ֔חוּ אַלְמְנֹותֶ֖יהָ הִרְבּ֥וּ בְתֹוכָֽהּ׃
Trans.	qešer nəḇî’eyhā bəṯwōḵāh ka’ărî šwō’ēḡ ṭōrēf ṭāref nefeš ’āḵālû ḥōsen wîqār yiqqāḥû ’aləmənwōṯeyhā hirəbû ḇəṯwōḵāh:

AC	כה קשר נביאיה בתוכה כארי שואג טרף טרף נפש אכלו חסן ויקר יקחו--אלמנותיה הרבו בתוכה
ASV	There is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey: they have devoured souls; they take treasure and precious things; they have made her widows many in the midst thereof.
BE	Her rulers in her are like a loud-voiced lion violently taking his food; they have made a meal of souls; they have taken wealth and valued property; they have made great the number of widows in her.
Darby	There is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst of her like a roaring lion ravening the prey; they devour souls; they take away treasure and precious things; they increase her widows in the midst of her;
